I  this, and I am really proud of it. This took me about 3-4 hours in total, when normally paintings take me years and years to finish.I used a photo that I took while hiking in Eggmont a couple of summers ago, as a sort of a reference. When I started this- I was trying to paint a lot of detail, then... I had coffee tonight, which I don't normally drink. After the second one, I decided to have another go at this... I wasn't liking how it looked- when I was painting so much detail. Anyways... to make a long story short, I was hyper, and just started splotching colors, and shapes, and re-doing the detailed parts all sloppy too. I was soooo satisfied to just be random and sloppy, playing with color, shape, form, and letting the brush do it's work. I don't normally do that. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
